FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Trinity River Audubon Center recognizes the challenges of our current situation. We ask for your patience and support in following these new guidelines for your visit.
Do I have to wear a mask? What about my kids?
In accordance with Dallas County orders, all guests 10 years and older are required to wear face coverings while on property at Trinity River Audubon Center. We strongly encourage children over the age of two to wear face coverings during their visit as well.
What if I do not wish to comply with the new face covering policy?
Trinity River Audubon Center takes the COVID-19 health and safety measures very seriously. The face covering policy will be enforced, and guests who choose not to comply with these requirements will be asked to leave the property.
Are bathrooms available?
We have outdoor bathrooms available for your use.
Why do you have reduced hours?
Like other organizations, Trinity River Audubon Center has had a reduction in staff due to COVID-19 and decreased revenue. We will have reduced hours to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. We will revisit the current schedule at a later date.
Are dogs and/or bicycles allowed?
Please note that dogs are not allowed on property and bicycles are not allowed on our trails. However, dogs and bicycles are permitted on the public City of Dallas trails, including Great Trinity Forest Trail and AT&T Trail, which are located near the center. Click here for a map of those trails.
Why is advanced purchase required as well as timed entry?
Trinity River Audubon Center takes the COVID-19 health and safety measures very seriously. By purchasing a ticket in advance and at a designated time, we are able to manage the flow of cars and number of people onsite at regular intervals to ensure the safety of all visitors.
