Schoolyard Investigations

Let us bring Trinity River Audubon Center to you with our custom Schoolyard Investigations program!

Our educators plan and execute 1 o r 2 semesters of curriculum designed to help students engage with their schoolyard environment, while increasing observation & documentation skills. The program culminates with a field trip to our center.

Grade Level Themes
Kindergarten: Animal homes
First: Food chains
Second: Trees
Third: Insects
Fourth: Birds
Fifth: Geology

Schoolyard investigations is currently in place at Lakewood Elementary School.

You choose one to two days during the school week, we provide 45 minutes sessions for each class in each grade level.  Cost is based on level of customization and number of semester and grades selected.
