Overnight Camping

Camp out on the prairie or in the largest hardwood urban forest in the United States.

With the help of an Audubon Educator, participants get to explore everything the center has to offer at night while camping underneath the canopy of the Great Trinity Forest. Additional add on opportunities include an evening river float and/or a morning birding class.

Time & seasonality: Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday (dependent on campsite availability) 7pm – 9am, birding 9-11am, kayaking 5-7pm.

What to bring: You bring a sleeping bag, we take care of the rest. 

Group limit: 10 person minimum, 30 person maximum, 20 person maximum for kayaking.

Cost: $40 per person with optional birding class for $15 per person or kayaking for $50 per person.
